RYAN MILLER'S STORY

I have over 25 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry in the US and UK markets. Kansas born and raised, I started my wine journey on the restaurant side of the industry and then worked as a distributor wine sales representative at Glazers of Kansas. Happily married to an amazing woman, we packed our bags and headed to Chicago where I worked as the Mid-West Regional Manager for Quintessential Wines for eight years and then for an additional two years as their Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager in DC. 

I then became the US National Sales Manager at Fowles Wines Australia for over two years, where I learned exactly what passion and a family-run winery was all about. My wife and I then ended up in North Carolina, where I was offered the role of Vice President of Sales to start a new wine division with one of the largest distributors on the East Coast. I created a new subdivision within the company and began building their wine portfolio from the ground up.

During that time, one of my suppliers asked if

I would join them as their US National Sales Manager, so I joined Canopy Wine Selections in the Spring of 2019 and was with Canopy for six years both in the US and UK markets. While at Canopy Wine Selections, I discovered the vast hidden gems that South African wines offer, which has therefore become one of my favorite regions to discuss with clients in the industry.

The Stoller family has weaved in and out of my wine and spirits career, as they were my Chicago distribution partner for six years. When they developed Stoller Imports, I was excited to see their craft spirits portfolio expand and thrive.
